  • Customer Care Specialists are experienced and trained to provide outstanding service.
  • Claims Customer Care Specialists process claims for three of the AMA-sponsored insurance products and also work with the insurance carriers to advocate careful claim adjudication for the claims paid by others.
  • Customer Care Specialists in the New Business area ensure that applications and enrollment forms are processed quickly and certificates of insurance are issued promptly and correctly.
  • Market Research and Product Development staff research physicians' needs through physician focus groups and surveys,analyze insurance and related products in the marketplace to find appropriate products, and work to locate insurers that can develop plans to focus on physicians' insurance needs.
  • No portion of AMA membership dues is used by AMA Insurance Agency to support the marketing efforts of the AMA-sponsored Insurance Program.
