Medical Student Disability Insurance
Disabling accidents and illnesses can happen at any time, to anyone. With tuition and limited income, it's important to have the ability to be financially assisted if a disability prevents you from continuing your education. Take this opportunity to help protect yourself against the financial impact of a disability.
Student Disability Income Insurance
- Only $41 a year
- Pays you $1,000 a month for up to 12 months if a total disability from a covered illness or injury prevents you from attending classes
- The benefit is paid directly to you in addition to any other health benefits you may receive, and can be used for any purpose such as living expenses, tuition, or student loans
- No medical exams or health questions are required
- Acceptance is guaranteed for medical students who are under the age of 40 and are full-time students at an approved medical school or an osteopathic medical school.
You'll have the option to continue disability income coverage after graduation at standard rates, if you become a full-time resident.
