January 25, 2016

CHICAGO—(January 25, 2016) – Extensive research1 conducted by AMA Insurance has uncovered key financial issues facing today’s physicians, including their top concern of having enough money for retirement.  In an ongoing commitment to address these issues through education, AMA Insurance has joined with Millennium Brokerage Group (MBG), a member of its Physicians Financial Partners Program, to sponsor the inaugural 2016 Physicians Financial Summit May 1-4 in Orlando, FL, focused on building and executing a solid retirement plan.

The Summit speakers will present expert financial intelligence, core strategies, and put-in-place tools to help physicians build and sustain a powerful foundation for a healthy retirement. Other Summit sponsors include: AIG, American Medical Association (AMA), Essentials for Physicians, Iron Financial, Mercedes Benz, MetLife, Nationwide Financial, New York Life, Pentegra Retirement Services, Symetra Financial, Transamerica, and US Bank.

Summit offers practical advice from financial planners; keynote speaker Herb Meyer shares insider’s global perspective

Designed by MBG, the Summit program includes a comprehensive approach to achieving a sound retirement. Veteran financial advisors will share practical advice on four themes: 1) establishing a retirement plan, 2) wealth accumulation strategies, 3) tax efficiencies, and 4) tools, products and techniques to protect a nest egg.  Other topics include “The 6 Costly Mistakes Physicians Make with IRAs,” “How to Bear-Proof Your Retirement Assets,” “How to Fund Long-Term Care -- Without Cratering Your Retirement Assets,” and more.

To overlay a top-down global perspective on current trends and the forces affecting the economy, distinguished speaker Herb Meyer will keynote the Summit with “What in the World Is Going On.” Meyer served during the Reagan Administration as Special Assistant to the Director of Central Intelligence and Vice Chairman of the CIA’s National Intelligence Council.
