Term Life Insurance is simple, no-frills protection. You pay a premium, and in return have the comfort of knowing that if your loved ones were to unexpectedly lose you, they would receive financial help at this difficult time.

Your acceptance is guaranteed if you are under age 40 and a full-time student of a medical school or an osteopathic medical school approved by an appropriate accrediting agency.

The benefits provided by this coverage are paid on top of any other insurance you have.

No. There are no medical exams and no medical testing. Your acceptance is guaranteed if you are under 40 years of age and attending an approved medical school full time.

Yes, after you graduate you will have an opportunity to continue your coverage under the physician Preferred Term Life Insurance Plan.

Your eligible spouse or domestic partner under age 40 may enroll for the Term Life Insurance — whether you enroll or not.

Your coverage will be effective on the first or fifteenth day of the month after receipt of your enrollment form, provided eligibility requirements are met, you are not hospitalized and the premiums are paid when due.  If you or your spouse are hospitalized on the date insurance is to take effect, insurance will take effect the day after discharge provided eligibility requirements are still met.

Once you receive your Certificate of Insurance you’ll have up to 30 days to review your coverage at no obligation. If you decide you are not satisfied, just return your enrollment without claim, your coverage will be invalidated and you will receive a full refund of any premiums you have already paid — no questions asked. If you have not yet paid your first premium, no payment is due.
